Russian translation services in the UAE
Russian-language documents arrive here mostly attached to property purchases, residency applications and company structures — and they come from several different countries whose civil registries look similar and behave differently.
A Russian, Kazakh, Belarusian, Uzbek or Ukrainian certificate may be written in the same language and still need a different chain, because the route depends on the issuing state. Several of these countries are Hague parties, which leads people to arrive with an apostille that the UAE will not accept on its own. The document still needs UAE embassy legalisation in the issuing country and MOFAIC attestation here.
Two technical points recur. First, Cyrillic name transliteration varies between passport standards, and the spelling on a Dubai title deed has to match the spelling on the passport used to buy it. Second, powers of attorney drafted for use in the UAE are often prepared to a notarial format that does not map onto local practice — we translate what the document says, and flag where the drafting is likely to cause a problem at the notary rather than discovering it on the day.

My Russian document has an apostille. Is that enough for Dubai?
No. The UAE is not a party to the Hague Convention, so an apostille alone is not accepted. The document needs UAE embassy legalisation in the issuing country followed by MOFAIC attestation here.
Which spelling of my name should the translation use?
Whatever appears in the passport you are using for the transaction. A mismatch between a title deed and a passport is treated as a discrepancy, not a variant, and it can hold up a property registration.
Do you cover Kazakh, Uzbek and Ukrainian documents?
Yes. They are frequently in Russian, but the attestation route follows the issuing country, so we confirm that before quoting.
