How a foreign document becomes usable in the UAE

  1. 1Issued and verifiedThe issuing authority or a notary in the home country confirms the document is genuine.
  2. 2Home-country authenticationThe foreign ministry, or an approved agency, authenticates the notary or registrar signature.
  3. 3UAE embassy legalisationThe UAE mission in that country legalises the document for use here.
  4. 4MOFAIC attestationThe UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs attests the embassy stamp inside the country.
  5. 5Legal translation into ArabicA Ministry of Justice licensed translator produces the Arabic version the receiving body will read.

The UAE is not party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille on its own is not enough. Skipping a step invalidates everything after it.

What we do

Eight services that most clients end up combining. Tell us the end goal rather than the individual step, and we will map the route.

  • Legal translation

Arabic legal translation accepted by UAE courts, notaries and government departments.

  • Certified translation

Signed and stamped translations with a certificate of accuracy, for visas, universities and employers.

  • MOFAIC attestation

Attestation at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs — the final step before a foreign document is usable here.

  • Embassy and consulate legalisation

Consular legalisation at embassies in the UAE and at UAE missions abroad.

  • Apostille services

Apostilles obtained in Hague Convention countries for documents used abroad — and the UAE alternative.

  • Certificate and degree attestation

Degree, school and professional certificate attestation for UAE employment visas and licensing.

  • Document retrieval

Obtaining replacement certificates, registry extracts and records from authorities worldwide.

  • Interpreting

Court, conference, business and remote interpreting across the UAE in over 60 languages.

  • Licensed translators

Arabic legal translation by translators licensed by the UAE Ministry of Justice, stamped with the licence number authorities check.

  • One instruction, whole chain

Retrieval, translation, embassy legalisation and MOFAIC attestation handled as a single file instead of four separate errands.

  • International network

Offices and partners abroad, so the steps that happen in the issuing country do not become your problem.

  • Written quotes

Government fees and our fee itemised separately, with a date we will commit to before you pay anything.

Languages we work in

Over 60 languages in total. These are the ones where the paperwork has its own rules — its own issuing authorities, its own script problems, its own attestation chain — and where knowing that in advance saves you a cycle.
