German translation services in the UAE
German documents reaching the UAE are usually corporate or technical: commercial register extracts, articles of association, audited accounts, conformity declarations and engineering specifications, alongside civil records for residency.
The three jurisdictions diverge in ways that matter. A German Handelsregisterauszug, an Austrian Firmenbuchauszug and a Swiss Handelsregister extract contain broadly similar information under different headings and different legal effects, and German company forms — GmbH, AG, KG, GmbH & Co. KG — do not map cleanly onto UAE entity types. We translate the form and explain it rather than substituting a UAE label that implies something untrue.
Germany, Austria and Switzerland all issue beglaubigte Übersetzungen through court-sworn translators, and people often assume that certification carries over. It does not: a UAE authority wants an Arabic translation carrying a Ministry of Justice licence stamp. If your document already has a German sworn translation into English, that helps us but does not replace what is needed here.

I already have a beglaubigte Übersetzung. Is that enough?
Not for UAE official use. A court-sworn German translation is valid in Germany; here the requirement is an Arabic translation stamped by a Ministry of Justice licensed translator. Your existing translation is still useful as a reference.
How do you translate GmbH or GmbH & Co. KG?
We keep the German form and add a short explanatory rendering. Substituting an LLC label implies a UAE entity type with different liability and governance, which can be misleading in a contract or a bank file.
Do you handle technical and engineering documents?
Yes — specifications, conformity declarations, test reports and manuals. Send any existing glossary or previous translation so terminology stays consistent with what your engineers already use.
