Hindi translation services in the UAE
Most Hindi work here is Indian paperwork on its way into a UAE visa, licence or court file — and the translation is rarely the hard part. The attestation chain behind it usually is.
Indian documents have to be authenticated in India before the UAE will look at them, and the route depends on the state and the document type: a Sub-Divisional Magistrate or state Home Department for personal certificates, the state HRD or university for educational ones, a Chamber of Commerce for commercial ones, then the Ministry of External Affairs, then the UAE mission. India is a Hague member, but that is irrelevant here — the UAE is not, so an MEA apostille will not substitute for embassy legalisation.
On the translation itself, the recurring problems are name transliteration and dates. A single Devanagari name can be Romanised half a dozen ways, and when the spelling on the certificate does not match the passport, the file stops. We match the passport spelling and note the variant rather than silently picking one. Indian certificates also mix numerals, regional calendars and abbreviations that mean nothing outside the issuing state.

Questions we are asked
My Indian degree has an MEA apostille. Is that enough for the UAE?
No. The UAE is not a party to the Hague Convention, so an apostille alone is not accepted. The document needs UAE embassy legalisation in India and then MOFAIC attestation here. We can complete the remaining steps on a document that already has the apostille.
The spelling of my name differs between my certificate and my passport.
Common, and it stops files. We translate to match the passport and add a transliteration note covering the variant, which is usually accepted. Where the authority insists, the issuing body has to correct the certificate and we can request that.
Can you also handle the attestation in India?
Yes, through partner offices, including the state-level step before MEA. You do not need to post anything to India yourself.
