Chinese translation services in the UAE
Chinese work here is mostly commercial — business licences, supply contracts, customs and conformity paperwork moving through Jebel Ali — with a steady secondary flow of civil documents for residency.
Simplified and Traditional are not interchangeable, and neither are the underlying systems. A mainland business licence, a Hong Kong certificate of incorporation and a Taiwanese company registration carry different information in different structures, and a translation that flattens them into a single template loses the fields a UAE bank or registrar is actually looking for. We keep the source structure and label the fields as they appear.
Names are the recurring operational problem. A Chinese personal or company name may exist in characters, in Pinyin, in an older Wade-Giles or Cantonese romanisation, and in a registered English trading name that resembles none of them. We use the form that appears on the passport or the certificate of incorporation and record the others, so that a bank comparing two documents does not see two different entities.
