The Iranian business community in Dubai goes back generations, and the documents reflect it: shenasnameh and civil records, trade documents, property deeds, inheritance files and court judgments.
Farsi uses the Arabic script with additional letters, which is a trap rather than a convenience. A translator who reads Arabic but not Persian will recognise most characters and misread the words, and the results look plausible enough to pass an untrained check. Persian legal and commercial vocabulary is its own system, with terms from Iranian civil and commercial codes that have no Arabic equivalent even though the letters are familiar.
Dates are the other constant. Iranian documents use the Solar Hijri calendar, which is neither the Gregorian nor the Islamic lunar calendar used elsewhere in the region, and converting it wrongly shifts a date of birth or a contract date by months. We give the Gregorian equivalent with the original retained, so the translation can be checked against the source.

Can an Arabic translator handle a Persian document?
They should not. The shared script makes it look manageable and it is not — Persian vocabulary, grammar and legal terminology are separate. We assign Persian specialists.
How are Iranian dates handled?
We convert from the Solar Hijri calendar and keep the original date in brackets, so the reader can verify the conversion rather than trusting it.
Do you handle inheritance and property files?
Yes, including deeds, succession certificates and the court documents that go with them. These usually need the full legalisation chain as well, which we handle together with the translation.
