Working in Dubai
Dubai runs two parallel legal systems, and the paperwork differs between them. Onshore matters go through Dubai Courts in Arabic, where a Ministry of Justice legal translation is mandatory. DIFC operates in English under its own common-law court, which changes what needs translating and when.
Most of our Dubai work comes from three directions: free zone companies in DMCC, DAFZA and Dubai Internet City preparing corporate documents for overseas parents or banks; law firms filing in Dubai Courts; and residents dealing with visa, property and family matters that need attested certificates from their home country.
Interpreting
We assign by subject as well as by language. An arbitration in construction and a clinical consultation both need Arabic, but they need different vocabulary and a different register, and an interpreter who is out of their depth is worse than no interpreter. Where terminology matters we ask for the file in advance so the interpreter arrives prepared.
Simultaneous interpreting for conferences is booked with equipment — booths, receivers, technician — as a single arrangement. Consecutive interpreting suits depositions, negotiations and appointments where accuracy matters more than speed. For notary and court appointments the interpreter must often be licensed to appear, and we assign accordingly.
Remote interpreting works well for short sessions and for connecting participants across time zones. It works less well for full-day multi-party proceedings, and we will tell you when the on-site option is worth the difference.

Which languages do you cover?
More than 60, with Arabic, English, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, Russian, Chinese, French, German and Farsi available at short notice across the UAE.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three working days for common language pairs, longer for conference work with equipment or for rarer languages. Urgent same-day requests are often possible — call rather than email.
Do you provide conference equipment?
Yes. Booths, consoles, receivers and an on-site technician can be supplied with the interpreting team as one booking.
Is the interpreter allowed to appear in court?
Court and notary appointments generally require an interpreter licensed for that setting. Tell us the venue and we will assign someone who can appear.
Do you serve clients in Dubai?
